This gun is NEW other than my father opening and closing the action a couple of times a year to oil and wipe it down. He NEVER fired these three 20 gauge Red Label shotguns, ever.
I am on the IL/WI stateline area, about 30 miles west of Lake Michigan.
I just took the shotgun out of the safe now that I am here in my office and the problem is NOT that it won't open or fire, it is that the latch doesn't seem to want to fully return to the inline position with the receiver when closed AND that you cannot select which barrel fires first but the...
They were my father's and I have no use for them as a couple of years before he passed he gave me his prized Ruger Red Label in 12ga with screw in choke tube. He gave it to me while I was in the 4th week of a 10 week trap league and the very first night I shot with it, having NEVER fired a...
I have the exact same 20 ga. Red Label, except I have three of them, one in each of the fixed chokes offered. Very hard to find the values as The Blue Book of Gun Values only shows the 20 ga. Red Label shotguns with fixed chokes in a stainless steel receiver, not blued steel.
Nice! How do you like the Magpul Backpacker stock for the 10/22 Takedown? I’ve been considering the similar stock that Magpul makes for the PC Carbine.

Hello everyone!
I have 3 Ruger Red Label shotguns in 20 ga. that I inherited from my father 5 years ago.
They have NEVER been fired, my father bought the 3 as a set each with fixed chokes, one in full/modified, one in modified/improved, and one in skeet & skeet.
I finally took them out of the...
Hey all, I’ve been a member here for over 12 years but I realized that I have never done an introduction and I haven’t been active at all during that time. Passed onto me from my father was a love of Ruger firearms and while I have a large collection including all brands of rifles and pistols...
The knife is marked on the back with "Bench Mark" and there is no sheath, just the velvet lined presentation case as shown in the picture. The knife is marked "Redhawk Companion" along with the serial number in the upper inlaid gold section and also has the Ruger logo inlaid in gold just before...
My father just gave me his Ruger Redhawk (1982) with Companion Bowie Knife that is a set with matching serial numbers in a walnut presentation box. I need to get an approximate value of this set for insurance purposes and to find out if it is even worth keeping as a collectors piece that should...
