I have a 7.5 incher and love it! Super accurate with 100 grain jacketed american eagle ammo. That unfluted cylinder and small frame make for a handsome and well handling revolver.
Go find one! I vote yes!!

What a beauty! Keep it bone stock and shoot the heck out of it! It will last for generations. I have never seen a super blackhawk that didnt shoot good.
Enjoy!!!

The extra sight was just to give you a gold bead option if you prefer that over a red ramp. If the sight height interfered with a scope you could just remove it with the attaching screws. Mine stays open sighted! Always wished it would have been offered in 480 as well!

I have a Toklat and it has grown from an ugly duckling to a favorite to me! Love the 5 inch length. I do think they should have stuck with a round barrel though.
Say, did you get the rings and extra gold bead sight that were shipped from the factory with them??
Nice revolver!!!
I vote the factory rosewood. But I would suggest the gp100 compact size. Looks proportionately perfect and very manageable in 44 mag with the weight of your alaskan. 454 or 480 not so much!
