I have a 6.5" unconverted non prefix Super Single Six in the 500000 range. Also a New Model convertible. Neither of them have markings on the cylinders identifying which is magnum or LR. I've had convertible Colts, and the magnum cylinder was always non fluted. Are the later Ruger cylinders marked?
I have all the calibers of Redhawks. Some blued, most stainless. Love the .357. Bought it years ago at a pawn shop in Anchorage for the same price as a .44
We have an old Single Six that needs a re-blue. It has not been converted with the transfer bar safety. Don't want it converted either. If we send it in, would Ruger insist on putting in a transfer bar?
