That is a cool thread. I guess I should have done a search first, but thanks to all who replied. Tennessee and Texas both allow 4" handguns. I have a 4" 357 that I have harvested a deer with but I didn't know how the 44 would shoot thru a 4".

I have the DAO but didn't like it because it didn't protect the rear sight. I like the FLETCH for the GP100 unless you just want it in the cross draw position.
Thanks for all the replys. I do have a couple of 9's and a lot of ammo. Also I was thinking about the 6 1/2 barrel length as my other revolvers are 4 inch. What are ya'll's thoughts on this?
