    Shiny New 8-Shot Redhawks

I cant remember any point in time that there were SO MANY new revolvers out that I want to test drive or just buy and toss in storage.

    8 shot 357 Redhawk

I haven't needed a gun since 1982...doesn't stop me, or even slow me down. Sometimes I have no idea what i "need" until I get my hands on it! :)

    Shiny New 8-Shot Redhawks

Do not, under any circumstances shoot one Jimbo, unless you are prepared to buy it! :) I have dozens of revolvers but ordered an 8-shot redhawk (2 and 3/4") and a 3 3/4" Bisley 44mag on a whim. Mostly just wanted to try them out, expecting to sell them off later. The Bisley is a sweet gun and...

    More new Redhawks in 357

The 2 and 3/4" model works fine without moonclips. I actually forgot about them first time i took it out. Had to pull it out again and run a couple cylinders with the clips just to verify function before i left. I have never owned a revolver that used moon clips before, but I can see how they...

    More new Redhawks in 357

I love a nice high polish blueing, may have to get one of each if they do!

    More new Redhawks in 357

Looks like they are making the 8-shot 357mag Redhawks with 4.2" and 5.5" barrels in addition to the shortie. I have the 2 3/4" barrel version and absolutely love it, I have put a couple boxes through it in the last couple weeks. The longer barreled versions go back to the standard grip frame...

Grips for Redhawk 45 ACP - 45 Long Colt

I've tried just about every grip under the sun on my Redhawks. The pachmayr presention is by far the best for my hands. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/338182/pachmayr-presentation-grips-ruger-redhawk-rubber-black Second best was the butler creek/uncle mikes but they are no longer made. Josh

New Ruger Redhawk shoots both .45 Colt and ACP!

Should be able to score a used one for around that after they've been around a while. Guessing they will be around 700 to 750 new based on all the other RH current pricing...same MSRP for all RH's.

New Ruger Redhawk shoots both .45 Colt and ACP!

While I agree that all gun prices have taken a pretty substantial step up in the recent years....the MSRP is the same as any other Redhawk, which is lower than the Super RH and most S&W's.

    Old Model SBH - 1971

Thanks Princeoute and Hondo....looks like I will have to work for it if I decide to go that way. I really appreciate the posts gentlemen. I will go shoot it a few times and ponder on whether I want to modify it or not. Thanks again. Josh

    Old Model SBH - 1971

My father in law passed on last year and recently my mother in law gave me this revolver. It was made roughly the same year as me (1971 if i'm reading the Ruger website / SN correctly) and was supposedly bought new by my FIL in the 70's. I was wondering if its possible to fit this gun with a...

    Shorty Redhawk Holster

I have a pancake style holster that works fine for belt carry with my 4" Redhawk (44mag) however, for my needs, the nylon chest rig on Rugers site is the absolute best for carry while fishing or in the woods. I can carry all day long and forget its even there. I guess it depends on your needs...
