I don‘t have any money in the gun budget for the foreseeable future and I would buy it at that price. New is about the same as a base PCC9 ($600+).
I paid $120 over that for a new base model 10/22.
I would start with a bolt action. I find it hard not to empty a magazine no matter how many rounds are in it. My 2nd choice would be the 10/22 with 1 round in each mag.
With 9mm taking increasing share of sales in recent years they needed another ‘ not 9mm‘ cartridge for those with deep pockets to buy. 9mm has a become the standard for young adults on a budget. The manufacturers want more diversity to maintain price structure and profit margins vs the many...
The closest LGS has primers in stock at $130 per box. I think they were CCI. For some reason they are still in stock. Gunpowder is at ok prices though.
Most places don’t have any primers in stock here. I cleaned out the other LGS when they had them for $10 per 100 packs last year. I was...
I haven’t found my ideal sight system for my pcc 9, yet. I got a great deal on a Romeo 5 but I can’t see the target clearly at the max distance at the indoor range (30 or 50 yards, can’t remember which.) I definitely need a magnifier.
I love the iron sights, I just can’t see well enough to use...
Mine was about $320 + tax. That’s the going rate on a base model 10/22 here in PA. Breakdown models and stainless are $450+. Compared with the pricing levels of the 10/22 a pcc 9 seems like a deal as the base model costs about the same as a comparable 10/22. The breakdown feature and threaded...
Almost got one this morning, with the company van. Where I live a ‘natural’ death for deer is usually in the headlights of a vehicle. They have plenty of food and crops to eat and there are enough houses to make hunting with a firearm dangerous to the neighbors.
I see some have upgraded to Mcarbo parts. Are there parts that make a bigger difference or is it smart to just get the whole upgrade package?
I am new to Ruger firearms.
I love the Mcarbo flat trigger on my P365 XL
