Mus408, What do you think about using Gas Checked Semi-wadcutters in your .45 Colt loads? Back when I was really into hand loading, I found them to shoot much cleaner in the .44 Mag and .44 Special than their plain based counter parts.

I've seen a lot of info. lately about shim kits for Ruger revolvers. I have a Colt New Frontier that has lots of side to side hammer slop. Does anyone make shims for the CSA? If not, can I use shims made for the Ruger SA on my Colt? :D
