If you can shoot it accurately, that load will get the job done. In fact with a 335 cast at that speed, I say line up a bunch of hogs and see how many it will go through. I bet the number would surprise us both. TDF

I wouldn't guarantee that that would screen out "ALL" scammers. Nothing says a guy can't have the gun in question in his possession and still be a lowlife that would scam someone. TDF

Good shootin'. Used to have a similar dog that would go all out after a coyote, and we had some wild.....similar......stories. Missed a few, got a few, but always kept the coyotes honest. TDF

Do you reload? Or are you limiting yourself to factory ammo? In my carbine I worked up a load with the 300 gr XTP, then proceeded to shot a young buck 3x3. Terrible angle. Went in the left shoulder, lungs, liver, stomach, etc, smashed rear femur and ended up just under the skin on the left...

I suspect "Ate for seven" equals 847

A lot of recoil with those latter two.......can you accurately shoot them. If so either would be great. The first load at 1000fps will be a lot more comfortable and will shoot lengthwise through a deer and get the job done. Shoot the one you and your gun shoot the most accurately. TDF

Not hard to change out a gripframe. Why not make one yourself? But I like the concept. I always wished Ruger would produce an aluminum version of the Bisley gripframe. TDF
