I just bought a Ruger single ten and when it came in the loading gate is very hard to open. Also when you pull the hammer back it sometimes does not work at all or it works good. Has anybody else had these problems?

I have been reloading since I was 19, now 80 so 61 years.

It is a super blackhawk bought Aug 6, 1964. I have the receipt for the purchase of it. What would something like that be worth? The box is in very good shape.

If that one is worth 650.00 what would one from 1964 that is black with a red end be worth? The black one is a much earlier model.
