I believe the op said screws loosening, not sights. But then mentions watching a video about sights and other things coming loose and ruining some guys gun. Which makes no sense to me, how are loose screws going to ruin a gun? But that’s for trying to explain to me what I read.

I have the hammer forged blued model I bought new in the early 2000’s. And to me the blueing never looked great. It’s definitely not a matte finish though. Shot a many of squirrels in the head with it.

Would have been a great trapline gun back in the day.

I’d almost guarantee they will be better then a Heritage. A buddy of a buddy had one and the thing wouldn’t even fire 1/2 the time. He said he was going to try and return it.

The couple online sights I checked wanted over $40 a box, plus shipping. By the time it’s said and done that’s over $90 per 100ct. They’re out of they’re minds if they think people will buy them for that.

Has anyone else noticed the price jump on these bullets? Over double of what they use to be. Bullet #8630. I thought they were kind of expensive at $20 a box. Definitely won’t be buying these anytime soon. IMO at over $40 a box they will be a Sierra discontinued bullet soon.
