Ruger American 223 rotary mag max C.O.A.L.?

The solution you're seeking was made about 10 years ago by a member of 24HR Campfire forum who goes by "cotis", They are a simple replacement for the factory rear end of the magazine and allow a c.o.l. of close to 2.5". One fellow was loading the Hornady 75 Amax at 2.429 which put it .010 into...

    I have 2 Blackhawks

OK, It's becoming clear as mud. It's a 5 1/2 incher. So a L.R. cylinder would likely be correct.

    I have 2 Blackhawks

THANK YOU, ROB! You just prevented me from committing a heinous crime against Ruger collecting. Years ago I bought Single Six 436716 from a member here. It was missing the cylinder and since it was marked Single-Six I assumed it was originally a L.R. But thanks to your chart I see that it...

    Selling a Ruger M77 in 375 H&H Mag.

As stated above, if you find the box you'll have most of the answers you seek. The picture shows a M77 Magnum, but your description said 26" barrel. I believe it should be 25". Measure from the face of the closed bolt.

1985 41 Bisley. Did I do ok, good or great?

I agree wholeheartedly! Those 41 Bisleys weren't made in large numbers. Find a good home for it and get something you want.

    1990 M77 Varmint 6mm Remington, Walnut Stocked....would like info

Yes if the date of birth is correct I'd say it's a Wilson barrel. When I visited the Newport plant in '91 they were phasing in the in-house hammer forged barrels caliber by caliber.
