Sorry Steve!
Guess kind of misspoke on the Super Blackhawk!
These are model 815 - 50th Anniversary Super Blackhawks, but serial number do end on 00027 or 00033 on either one of these from what I saw.
Think these was also a 50th anniversary Bearcat ending in the 00027 as well.
What is the going rate for a NIB KBNV-404SW Stainless Vaquero in 40 S&W, Ruger model 515?
Think saw a listing in the Ruger Reference for back in 2010 for this, but it was some time ago, and not certain what the current value would be.
Any help appreciated!
Do members out there still collect the old subscription guns?
Would there be interest in Super Blackhawks ending in 27 or 33, or was that a fad that has passed?
Curious to hear from members.
Thanks!
Think it is way over priced, you can get a Turnbull one for $1,300 http://www.gunbroker.com/item/650416861
(Don't know if this is a JM pre Remlin one)
But the listing price seems way too high. Have picked up several JM Marlins and they were in the 550 to 650 range, but that was about 3-4 years...
Gun Tests did a review of the RAP in 9MM in their latest issue and gave it a poor rating, had problems with the spring and guide rod too. The article was "American-Made 9mms: Ruger, Springfield, and Honor Defense"
They had several issues with the one they bought and tested it seems, did not...
To make your life easier on this one, take a look at Sun Devil Manufacturing out of AZ, they make a patented (I think) carrier key that has an adjustable gas feature, you just replace the carrier key with theirs and adjust as instructed.

They have videos on...
Had two of them, the first shot 1.5" 10 shot groups at 100 yds consistently with good lower cost match ammunition (SK Match).
Intended to try it for smallbore silhouette, got a second one and was lucky to get an 8" group out of it. The first one was a really early one and had a slightly heavier...
May be a problem with the profile on the end of the firing pin, that can happen with AR type firearms. Brownells sells a firing pin protrusion gauge, but it is for AR-15's and not certain if it would work on an AR-10 type.
Once you get a pierced primer the gas can erode the firing pin, check...
Check the websites for barrel manufacturers on break-in of their barrels, they generally supply good information.
Below are links to a couple of decent ones:

There is no given number of shots, each...
