According to an online serial number search, mine was made in 1966. And I've owned and fired 9mm, 38 Special, .380 ACP, .32 ACP, and .45 ACP handguns. I don't think I'm flinching when firing .22 WMR...:)

I've never taken offense at your posts, as they have been very helpful. Some others on however...the jury's still out...😉 Regarding the .22 LR cylinder. I have old school calipers, and when I measure the OAL of my .22 WMR cylinder, I measure 1.6 inches exactly, unless I'm missing a further...

So that's the secret!

I actually reacquired the Single Six today...but until I can put all my rounds in a single hole at 100 yards, no targets will be posted...:)

As I stated earlier in this thread, I will never again shoot .22 LR ammunition in a .22 WMR cylinder...in fact I learned my lesson so thoroughly that I Shot the remainder of my .22 WMR ammo and traded the Single Six for a Hi-Standard Sport King Model 103 that shoots .22 LR exclusively.

On these targets, I was trying to establish POI by adjusting my sight picture...from 6 o' clock to bullseye hold...with 2 very different styles of ammunition.

Thank you so much...I didn't think my posted targets were too bad, but I was soon told otherwise, as apparently almost everyone on here can make one small ragged hole at 50 yards...:)
