    6 inch or 4 inch

Amen. 5” to me is the perfect double action revolver length.

    Just a Beretta

That’s a good looking one, I like the shade of those grips.

    My favorite .45

Finally got around to taking some pics of my favorite .45, it’s an “early inheritance” from my grandfather. 1972 OM .45 Blackhawk Convertible, mine also has a 2.5” barrel to go along with it. Still have the original box, but the shipping box is not the original, it’s from when they shipped the...

    Reflex sight revolver holster recommendations

You might have to go custom for that. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one. You could always adjust and cut a slot in a U shape out where the sight is so in could go down in there.

What Is Your Favorite Full Size Auto???

Picked up a Canik TP9 SFX 9mm last fall and fell in love with it. Fits my hands perfectly. Really well made gun. Medium sized would be my Colt Officers 1911 .45 Small sized is my Sig 238 .380. It gets the most hip time.

    .380 plinking rounds

My favorite. 380 load is a 95gr with 3.0gr of HP-38. Cycles reliably but the brass falls right at my feet. Should work with your 83gr's as well.

    30 carbine

Never had any problems with my OM .30, but I had a OM.41 that WOULD NOT like any jacketed bullets I tried to feed it with any load data. Easy fix, I just give it a full lead diet now. Ask Bob Wright about wearing out Blackhawks...

    357 mag 125gr question

That was with the S&W Model 19's (AKA the Combat Magnum). The first few iterations, the forcing cone was cut level on the bottom to make room for the crane. A steady diet of 125 gr at high velocity had a tendency to crack the forcing cone at the bottom where it was thinner. Using a slower...

long frame screws prevent operation of 3 screw Blackhawk

Has it always done this, or just after you’ve taken it apart to clean it etc. ?

Need to cast bullet help please.

Are you sizing your bullets after you cast them? Just because a mold states .375 (or whatever) doesn’t mean it’s casting exactly that. You may just need a sizing die for the bullet to get it back down to spec.
