    Badger

One summer when I was 13 years old our neighbors invited me to go fishing with them on a remote steam about 150 miles north of home. We got camp set up & they dropped me off of the gravel road & the stream was about 200 yds across a big meadow. I started to cross & spotted this big badger laying...

    Badger

I can't find any place to contact the office. I've went into acct. details & where they tell you to click on name change but when I do that it says that name is already taken (by me) so it won't let me change back!!! Frustrating! Dick

    Badger

I'm back on, just haven't figured out how to get back on with my old handle yet, someone will have to walk me through it! I've seen one other guy get one alive & no it wasn't me although I did get one that still had some life in him with my Leatherman tool. Had him by the nose, at least for a...

I'm a little surprised the price of 223 brass is getting!

Lots of crazy prices out that lately for 223, or actually any caliber & a lot of it is for 20 rounds instead of 50 or 100 rounds. Many guys trying to make a quick profit off of those that get in a hurry. A few days ago I stood & watched 3 young kids shoot 3, 20 round boxes of 223 through their...

FS, Ruger OM 45 Convertible, Shorty

For sale is my OM 45 shorty convertible. Yikes, I hate to let this one go but Africa is calling again & I'm trying to make it happen one more time. The guns condition speaks for its self. One little spot of bluing wear at the end of the muzzle from the holster & also on the ejector, that's it...

    220 swift and seating depth

Why not stay on the safe side & be just short of the lands, you will still get great accuracy with 37-38 grs of 4064 in your your Swift. I had several of them over the years & that was the sweet spot depending on bullet & case preparation. Also be very careful about thick necks on Swift brass...

    Waiting for Spring

Still lots of snow here & COLD at night, but that's the beauty of living in Idaho. It won't last forever, spring is coming, the days are getting longer & I did see a Rock Chuck a few days ago! Dick

    Going back to hand loading

Some good safety warnings about how to not get in trouble with interchanging mags, etc that will accept two different calibers. This goes back many years but a few of you might be old enough to remember it, it's been 40, maybe even 50 years ago but it actually happened. It was in one of the old...

How many of you have one of these?

I don't know what they are bringing now but my late buddy paid $1500 for his 2 years ago. He enjoyed it a lot before he passed, now his son is enjoying it. Dick

Primers: some light on the horizon?

Saw 6-7 bricks of assorted primers in a gun shop yesterday. Going price was $169-$189 per 1000! I just smiled & kept walking. Dick

How many of you have one of these?

I have one & it rides with me almost every day in the summer time as I'm hunting for badgers, rock chucks, ground squirrels, etc. They are great shooting guns, very strong & dress up nice with a set of Amboyna Burl stocks that I built for it. Mostly I use a 115 gr GCHP bullet but sometimes I use...

    Super Redhawk in 41 magnum

Those 41 SRH;s with a 265 gr solid will handle just about any sane load you put in them & also about any animal on the planet within reason. They are way over built. Would love to find one. Dick
