    cci quiet rounds?

I shoot these in a suppressed Mk II and they cycle fine. You can hear the bolt click, but that's all.

    MKII 10" in the movies

I believe Bond was forced by MI to switch away from his Beretta 25 ACP because Q felt it was "a ladies gun."

Need help with SRH 454 value

Some free advice--don't do it! In retrospect, I am now sorry for every firearm I ever sold/traded off/got rid of. Hold on to it. Save up and buy whatever suits, but don't ever sell 1) land, or 2) firearms.

Wood grips for a Mark II

Who didn't have a Ruger 10/22 while growing up?

    Shoulder Holster

The leather holster in the photo is a Bandito. It's a great rig for carrying a large, and especially a scoped, revolver. I use it for my 9.5-in SRH.

Thinking of shooting in my basement thoughts .

Years ago, a number of us spent countless hours firing on a military indoor range. And hours casting bullets in the anteroom. I mean we shot thousands (perhaps hundreds of thousands) of full military .223, .45, and handloaded center fire pistol rounds with cast lead bullets. Then, higher HQ...

I have a 2X Leupold on my 9.5 SRH and that combination has worked fine.

New to forum - New Alaskan Ordered

I have a set of Hoague wood grips for my Alaskan, but use them only when I carry it with downloaded .454 cartridges. Otherwise, use the rubber or rubber-and-wood grips. I do like the look of the all-wood grips better.

    My first "hand cannon."

Although it's prudent to be concerned about lead (and other toxic materials), don't let it stop you from reloading. I have reloaded for 30 years, cast bullets for most of that time, and shot on an indoor range with others who cast even more than I did. We all had lead blood levels tested after...
