Here's my 1987 SRH with a reasonably priced 2-6X Simmons Pro Hunter scope. Has a 3 digit serial number and will shoot 5 shot 1/2" groups @ 25 yards off a rest.

I carry an SP 101 with a 2 1/4" barrel. The weight issue is no problem with a good holster.

A 4" barrel S&W Model 15-2 but it grew feet. I just bought this 15-3 in memory of it.

This SP 101 is my everyday carry, a good holster is all it takes.
