    Chig's Grips, an A+

This 1988 vintage 3" GP100 is now a real looker. The compact Ruger rubber was just not enough to hang on to with my big paws so I opted for the standard sized Letts style rubber with these zebrawood inserts. The Ruger medallions give this fine shooter a touch of class don't you think? Might I...

    3" GP100 Grip panels

Well this S&W fan just came up with an older (1989?) GP100 with fixed sights and a 3" barrel. I pretty happy because I've been looking for a 3" barreled 357 for a while and an S&W 3" like a M66 will have me taking out a loan with my first born as collateral. Another reason is I sold a buddy a...

    Do I NEED a Colt 1911??

Everyone deserves one Colt 1911, the rattle when you shake it is addictive. By the way the only 1911 I have is a Colt, a Series 80 even  and I love it. Capable of a nice 2" group with a magazine full at 25 yards rattle and all. If I was going to get another one it would...

Thinking about Super Redhawk- should I?

Here's my 1987 SRH with a reasonably priced 2-6X Simmons Pro Hunter scope. Has a 3 digit serial number and will shoot 5 shot 1/2" groups @ 25 yards off a rest.

    Your favorite combat revolver

My 1972 S&W Model 66 with a couple of speedloaders full. Sorry Ruger fans but they don't call it "Combat Masterpiece" for nothing. I do carry an 2.25" barrel SP 101 everyday though.

S&W K Frame verses Ruger 357 CC gun

    I love my three K frames, two 4" barrel Model 66 no dashes and a 2" barrel Model 15-3, it's a real honey! but I carry a 2 1/4" SP 101.

Security six vs. Sp 101, which for .357

I carry an SP 101 with a 2 1/4" barrel. The weight issue is no problem with a good holster.

    what was your first revolver?

A 4" barrel S&W Model 15-2 but it grew feet. I just bought this 15-3 in memory of it.

This SP 101 is my everyday carry, a good holster is all it takes.

    Holster for SP101

A guy named Heimdahl over at the Survivor's SKS Forum made this one for me, it's so good you hardly know your wearing it. http://www.sksboards.com/smf/index.php?topic=87771.msg1053267#msg1053267

The one from my SP says Hornady...357 mag and is painted red, I missed out.

    which gun for conceal carry

I carry a 2 1/4" barreled SP 357 everyday plus a speedloader full in my pocket. I shoot 110 grain 357s which are almost like shooting 38+Ps. A good holster is the key to comfort. I don't own an auto that hasn't jammed on me once so that's always in the back of my mind. On the otherhand I know I...

    Snub Nose SP101 .357

Try the SP with 110 grain 357s, kicks like a 38 +P with at least 100 lbs. more energy at the muzzle.
