I agree with Ruger Guru, half the fun of seeing which ammo works best in a particular gun is shooting several brands and weights to find the best one or ones. Just trying to get a little imput from the forum to limit the choices since the price of ammo is like the cost of going to the doctor...

Thankyou!! I will only be using this gun to plink and target practice. My local gun shop has the 4 5/8" barrel model in stock but not the 5.5" model. Debating on buying the shorter barrel model.

How much accuracy is compromised with the shorter barrel? Anyone with experience with both barrel lengths? Also, stupid question, who is Lipsey's and why do they show the 4 5/8" Single Ten barrel model and Ruger's website doesn't? :oops:
