Allowing people on your property to hunt is a judgment call. Those that are safe to have roaming with firearms generally already have a place to hunt. Those asking, especially a few weeks into the season... Enough to say our policy (for those we don't know) is references are required.

Trouble is... if you are in that situation if you are fighting your attacker and the courts you are going to die. No matter what you do you will have a chance in court. Unless you are dead... if you are dead the court is just a tad irrelevant.

Hmmm…. Colt Commander which is a 1911 but in 38 Super instead of 45. The revolver is 32-20 but so is my Winchester. I can’t use an AR-15 but the Lee Enfield serves well and in a pinch I have my Grandfather’s Garand. No 10/22 but the 39A works well despite its age. No 12 gauge but the SAIGA 20...
