I checked Shilen, Douglas, Pac-Nor and Hart, none supply 6x45 barrels for a mini 14. Only Krieger and Accuracy Systems offer them.

GasGuzzler, I’m kind of limited on jamming the bullet or jumping a mile. The rounds have to fit into the magazine, so my length is 2.245 +\~ .005”.

Tried the new scope today, nothing changed, Shelin is my only answer now.

I tried a 6mm bullet from the muzzle and the bullet just set on top of the riflings. The original Choate stock was not damaged, it just took more pressure than I thought it should have to lock the trigger assembly in place with that stock as opposed to the new one.

Mobuck, Not sure how to explain, but if the total travel on the trigger guard locking would be 100%, this locked on the final 20 to 25%. The old original also locked at 50%+. The bedding didn’t seem to alter the locking of the trigger in the new stock either before or after.

Arfmel-Hvymax, You may have identified the culprit. I think I'll send it back to Leupold and see if they can find anything. I'll tell them about how erratic it shoots and see what they say.
