Boatshop, thanks for the advice. Personally, I'm not a big fan of pocket carry though. Just doesn't seem to work for me. I guess I need to get some looser jeans :) I just ordered a Kholster for the LCR. I've never tried a pancake-style holster, but I hear good things about them.

No need for this thread to devolve into an argument about DA vs. SA. I bought the LCR with full knowledge and understanding that it was DAO. It's exactly what I (emphasis on I) wanted for a carry gun. My money, my choice, my preference. I'm merely passing along my positive 1st impressions...

It does have a hammer cock option. You activate it by pulling the very smooth DA trigger rearward :wink:
