As a student I'd apply for a free subscription to Rotorcraft Pro. Keep at it, there are hundreds of helicopter flying jobs out there at all levels. Two acquaintances, one now flying a Long Ranger Grand Canyon tours and another building time in his R22. And another just got hired flying tours.

That’s great. In Iran I’d let the crew chiefs/maintaince guys fly often. My one chief was able to get a couple of hours additional and got his helicopter rating in a Jet Ranger when we got back to the US.

As a civil flew AH-1J, UH-1H, OH-58 and Bell 214's in Iran for Bell 77-79. S76 Sikorsky for 18 years Hughes 500C UH-1H, UH-1N and OH-58, 2014-2018. Miss it!

Agree! I have the same 30.06 as the poster and will never sell it. Wish I had kept my 77 in 358.

Still have mine. Purchased from a friend about 25 years ago. Then found another red pad never shot 35 Whelen. Would love a No.1 and African Express but the second ones a bit pricey.

I have the exact rifle in 30.06. Also a standard length in 35 Whelen.

Thanks to all the corrupt Covid payments. When the lockdown hit I couldn’t believe all the new pick up trucks that showed up in our subdivision. Didn’t make sense!

I understand. I think (it’s been years) that’s why I sold it because wasn’t familiar with detailed maintainence. So not sure depending on price right now. I’ll think about it. Appreciate the thought. Just let me know.
