I have a CZ 455 that's been sort of a disappointment so far.
To be fair, I've haven't spent much time with it and I need to try a different scope and ammo---but its been far from a tack driver---so the jury is still out on this one but if I can't get it to shoot acceptably, it will be gone in...
My SP101 is my most accurate revolver---the trigger doesn't bother me at all(bone stock)---but then again, the SD9--Mini-14 etc.. triggers don't bother me either. Its been dry fired and shot quite a bit--also I've left it cocked(empty) for several days at a time.
I would also suggest you try...
Pretty sure there were some distributor exclusives in the same configuration-------really wish I could have found one myself.
Opps---missed that it was a MkI
I have a Walmart one and traded out the stock for a walnut Deluxe Sporter stock---beautiful piece of wood.
The local Scheel's has been selling these for at least a couple years now.
Looked one(black) over the other day but just couldn't do it and took home a new Charger instead.
Maybe if they come out with an adjustable sight version, I'll get one but as of now, I'm going to have to pass.
Those are pretty much the same mods I'm looking to do with mine (4in stainless)---my SP101 shoots better than my GP100 but that might have something to do with the weird Hogue's that came with it.
My new GP100 really isn't all that accurate---new grips and different load selection might change...
Just bought a 2.25in .357---------had a 3in and bobbed hammer versions but neither really worked out--mostly due to the lack of viable holsters at the time.
The new one might not work out either as its already being sent back to Ruger--purchased NIB on 12-31-18 and only dry fired---too...
I only have one Hawkeye and its an All Weather .30-06 wearing a Ziess Diavari C.
Basically my worst conditions rifle when I don't want to take my Browning X-bolt out---the main reason the Browning is preferred is that its much lighter----both are good rifles though.
Kinda strange these days where they are adding revolver models(or variants) to the line and dropping auto pistols.
I had one of the first SR9's that shot ok but peened the barrel so bad it kept the slide open--sent it back to Ruger and they fixed it but I promptly dumped it when it came back...
I "think" all the differences are contained in the slide---so in theory it should be an easy swap.
I'm not 100% sure ---so take this with a grain of salt.
My Glocks have been good. My P95's have been good as well.
Owned one of the first SR9's with the Glock style trigger that was no good---barrel peening in less than 100 rounds held the slide open---Ruger fixed it on their dime but the thrill was gone and I traded it as soon as it came...
