    WTB: GP100 in .22lr

I know....terrible timing to try to find something, but I’ll ask anyway. Anybody have a line on a new or like new GP100 in .22lr? Thank you, RT

    Future GP100 offerings?

Any rumors if there will any new GP100 offerings, such as perhaps a fixed rear sight version of the 3" .44 special or any other calibers that start with a 4? Just curious what you've heard or speculate before I dip into my cash stash and wish I'd have waited a few more weeks. Thanks all, russ

    Baby Vaquero grips?

    Hmmmm....both excellent ideas. Thank you.

    Baby Vaquero grips?

Anybody know of a company other than Eagle that makes thin Baby Vaquero (.32 Single Six, the shorter KXR3 short) grips? I have Eagle Gunfighter grips for my .32 Single Six but would like to try something different, and again, thin. Thanks all.

    Painting front sights

I've only done this to one of my revolvers so far, a Super Blackhawk I carry hunting. The bright orange stripe of acrylic nail polish really does help my aging eyes in the low light conditions in the woods and mountains.

    New Vaquero / Bisley grip /.45LC / 4 5/8" barrel

Found an original frame stainless version on gunbroker, but that's likely a custom job: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=567975663

    New Vaquero stainless grip frame?

Thank you. I just ordered it along with a New Vaquero hammer and a round hammer strut, going to swap out on a Lipsey's birdshead .45 acp Vaquero just for fun. Keeping the birdshead grip and hammer in case I want to swap it back again someday. May have a local 'smith do the fitting for me however.

    New Vaquero stainless grip frame?

How does one go about getting a stainless new Vaquero grip frame for a gunsmithing project? I can't seem to find one. Thanks, russ

not ruger, what did i do?

I have the same revolver, but swapped out the grips for the smaller NAA magnum model grips for easier carrying. I also cut and sewed an Uncle Mikes IWB holster to fit it, not much wider or longer than the clip on the holster. Ugly, but a slick set up option for carrying other than in the pocket.

gun shops NE of east of Dallas

Been a long time in the works, but I just recently landed NE of Dallas, TX for what I hope to be my last relocation. As I joked with my former coworkers in WA; as a hairy-faced, conservative Christian guy with guns, horses and too many fishing poles I think this is where I'm going to settle...

    Vaquero sheriffs $$ question.

I doubt you'll ever find that model in that condition at that price ever again. I have four of these in .45 lc, two of which are birdshead gripped, and would personally buy this one sight unseen from just your description. I completely agree with contender: buy it, shoot it, take care of it...

    Stainless Old Army Fixed sights

SW Oregon....as in Medford area? If the bore looks good, personally I'd buy it for that price.

Vaquero Sheriff 45: grips and leather

varminter22 - What kind of holster is that?

I had this theory on Ruger Sherriffs.

I've been eye-balling both of those, good catch! My wife and I have, well, seven now as of two days ago, and if I ever see a nice one in .357 I'm probably gonna have to pay too much to get that too. Needless to say I really like the sheriff model.
