I ran a box of it threw my 1995 Mini-14 today. Not on paper but sticks and rocks on a slope 80 yards away seemed to disappear at a satisfying rate.

Anybody tried the Golden Bear 62 gr Soft Point ammunition in an older Mini-14 with 1:7 twist? I was wondering how the accuracy is with that ammo. Any better than 55 gr. I picked some up but as it is winter up here in Northern Michigan it may be awhile before I can do any serious shooting. I...
