Link?! Those are pretty sweet. I used to add medalions from Ruger to my P-gun grips. Typically would mod a Hogue grip or Uncle Mikes to get rubber. Keep the P-guns alive!!

Hardness testing typically does not leave a mark. My guess is a second of some sort which strikes me as odd because the slide wouldn't carry a serial number and ruger could have simply fit a new slide. So not 100% sure.

I concur with the_leper_colony. I tinkered mostly with P89 models and then the P94. The P95 was towards the end of the P-guns. If you want 40 cal I suggest finding a good P944 model. Like the 95 in a lot of ways but a bit longer and metal frame make for some weight difference. I do get tickled...

How much does he have? Maybe ask for it all at a discount. I haven't bought 9mm in a bit so not sure on price but google will tell you. As for what type to buy it depends on what you do with it. Also brand may come into play. I typically just plink so any old round ball will work for that.
