    What’s your bedroom gun?

Ruger 357 Security Six 6 inch barrel.

    SECURITY SIX

I purchased the exact same revolver for $350 from a private party last year. Looks like I got a good deal.

    Ruger SC9s Opinions

I've been a "revolver guy" for years but lately I've been thinking about jumping into the semi-auto realm. I'd like to hear your opinions on the Ruger EC9s. My biggest concern is the trigger pull and trigger length. I have arthritis in my trigger finger and a long trigger pull would be a deal...

    Mossberg 500- Anyone Knowledgeable

I prefer the 500 over the 870 for many reasons. My 500 has been shooting for years and never a problem. Great shotgun for a reasonable price.

    Question on SP-101's

Yes, 38 Special can be fired in the 357 Magnum. They make it in 38+p because some government agencies think the 357 Magnum is too "scary" for them.

    Ordering my SP-101 tomorrow

Great choice...I've been pocket carrying (Mika Pocket Holster) the exact same model for many years.

    Old Security-Six

I would put the GP100's in the safe and use the old "Six".

Opinions on SP101 (KSP-321XL) as pocket weapon

I beg to differ, I've been carrying the 2 1/4" SP101 in a Mika holster in the front pocket of Levi jeans for years...heavy is a good thing when it comes to the felt recoil of full-house 357 loads...I'm so used to the "weight" that I have to pat my front pocket to be sure I didn't forget to take it.

    Carrying the SP101 3" vs 2.5"

I carry the 2 1/4" in a Mika pocket holster daily and don't find it too heavy. The 3 1/8" would not work for pocket carry IMO. I practice point and shoot at 7 yards so sight radius is not an issue at typical SD distances. As far as HD and woods carry, a 4" GP100 would be a better choice.

Why convert a DA/SA revolver to DAO?

I recently traded a DAO SP101 for the DA/SA model. The 14# trigger of the DAO was getting to be too much for my arthritic hands and the 6# trigger in SA mode was much easier...the method that worked well for the old west gun fighters is good enough for me.

    Sp101 vs lcr for CCW

I ruled out the LCR because it is DAO and too light for 357 full house loads IMO. I had a DAO SP101 that I traded for the DA/SA model because the 14 pound trigger pull of the DAO was too much for my arthritic hands. I carry the DA/SA 2 1/4" SP101 in a Mika pocket holster in the front pocket of...

    Traded for a 2.25" Ruger SP101

I also carry the 2 1/4" SP101 in a Mika pocket holster in my jeans front pocket. I have no problem with the weight that many people complain about.

357 LCR Trigger Pull In Pounds???

Since the LCR is DAO and the trigger pull is so large that your guage can't measure it, the LCR is out of contention for me. I guess I'll sell/trade my DAO SP101 for a DA/SA SP101 which has a 6 pound SA trigger pull.

357 LCR Trigger Pull In Pounds???

A question on the 357 LCR: Is the LCR DA/SA or DAO? If DA/SA, what is the trigger pull in each mode? I have had the 357 DAO SP101 for about 6 years and a 14 pound trigger pull is getting a little too much for my slowly getting arthritic hands. I'm reluctant to change springs for reliability...
