Anyone know of a promotion on the SR/AR556 on the ruger site

I see a banner on the Ruger website saying that there is a "SR-556/AR-556 Deal" but it just goes to the Ruger store with random stuff like pistol mags, knives, mugs, etc when I click it.

Graphite dry lube in revolver trigger mechanism

My father was a pretty good pistolsmith and I have a .357 Blackhawk Flattop that he tuned up. After stoning the engagement surfaces and polishing the contact surfaces he degreased it and filled it with graphite and would sit in the evening while watching TV cocking it and lowering the hammer...

Using LCR cam type trigger action in larger revolvers?

I submitted that suggestion on the "Tell the CEO" form in relation to the SP101. Since the SP101 now has more upscale adjustable sighted versions, it really needs a trigger worthy of the rest of the gun.

    Single 6,(and 7, 9 & 10) aftermarket hammers

    Thanks! Looks like more grinding.

    Single 6,(and 7, 9 & 10) aftermarket hammers

I see that Power Custom has Bisley style hammers for the .22/.32 guns. Does anyone know if these fit the standard grip frame or was there a Single 6 Bisley that they fit? I have never seen such a critter, but I've missed a lot of guns that came and went over the years. I'd like to put a...

LCRx 327 magnum , will it happen ?

I'd like to have both the snubby and the adjustable sighted LCRx but I won't invest in the caliber until I can get the 3" LCRx. Ideal would be to the a 2" LCRx and a 3" adjustable as well but I doubt that will happen. I try not to bombard the Tell the CEO site with requests for the same stuff...

3" LCRx pool, place your bets

I hadn't thought of the 9mm. If this is an indication of what people want, I will be waiting a while for my turn.

3" LCRx pool, place your bets

.327 Federal Magnum, .357 Magnum or .22 Magnum first? I'm hoping for the .327 but betting on the .22 Magnum being the next introduction.

    New Ruger SR1911 Target Model

Hard to believe that Ruger would do what people are saying, changing the sights and name. If it is true that there are no accuracy or trigger improvements, it is a sad state of affairs. Could have been a flagship. Now it is just a service pistol with fragile sights.

    Wood or Faux Pearl ??

Dark on light, light on dark was always a good rule. How about buffalo horn on the SS?

3" LCRX in .357 may be a reality soon

That is an interesting gun. Might have to keep my 627 and add that to the stable, kind of a Mutt and Jeff combo.

    .45 ACP Redhawk

I had not taken the variation in undercut width into account when I bought my Smith. Since it is not used for extraction the undercut is unimportant in revolver brass so apparently SAAMI spec. does not hold it very tightly, unlike the ACP brass. (Haven't looked up the drawing, that is gunshop...

    .45 ACP Redhawk

Thicker clips would be good, I have destroyed a number of the clips for my S&W 627 trying to load them, and I have one of the loading tools from Dillon. If Ruger would make a .45 ACP Redhawk just like the convertible I would trade in the Smith in a minute. They got the styling on the...

    .45 ACP Redhawk

I was curious if anyone else would like to see a .45 ACP only version of the .45 LC/ACP Redhawk. Only accurate guns are really interesting. (Unless they have a third position on the safety. :) )
