    Wrangler Hammer

I hate the Wrangler trigger and hammer too, I swap in regular issue single six parts when I have one apart, plentiful and not expensive. Yes, Bisley hammer for a single six hard to get. I got all mine from Ruger parts, but they wont sell me another one last I asked.

327 Fed would be a cal I would to have in a No.1, think a No. 3 might be a great choice also

    Super Wrangler!

This Super got me thinking after the above analysis: 1. The quality, low price point has been very successful for Ruger, lots of sales, many different options 2. There is now a steel alloy cylinder frame offered, some have speculated the demise of the SS6 Could this open the door for something...

Information on the changes in Ruger grip medallions

I also am very interested in the history of the medallions, and have been acquiring a small collection I would like to add to. This thread was the best info I could get about different versions https://www.rugerforum.com/threads/grip-medallion-types.109750/#p1094322

    .45-70 Lever Gun Available, Locally

These have been really climbing in price, Cabelas (if you can believe it) had some of the trappers a few months back for about $1200 + tax

    Gold leaf problem

Ruger dosn't have them, these were a Lipseys order the ROCS guys commisioned. They took delivery on all of them. If I recall, it was Barron who did the embellishment

    Remington Cutlery...

Loved Smokey Mountain Knife Works catalogs back in the '80s. I focused on Scrade, Camillus mostly, they use to sell 2nds cheap. The USA stamped Schrades my favorite, but agree the new Chinese versions are not bad for the money these days.

    Can't find a Mark IV I like.

I like the MKIV, sold my MKII the day the MKIV came out. I'd get another if a stainless Standard were to be produced. Another fan of the Volquartsen takeoffs, over the years a lot of different configurations offered.
