Correct me if im wrong but just looking at the space between the locking notches, it appears that the single ten would have a very quick lockup time.

There is also the ruger gp100 phoenix with a high luster blued finish.

I know this is a bit off topic, but I always wondered if the LCR would be perfect in this role since it has a polymer gripframe, therefore no rust issues. Just something to think about.

Thanks for the reply, however the issues that I read about were based on the theory that lighter bullets in .357 magnum hit the forcing cone with more velocity than the heavier ones, which causes more ware. Just wasn't sure if this was only in certain bullet weight ranges.

Hi all, Just wondering, but I had purchased some factory Remington 125gr JSP UMC .357 mag ammo a while back and have read that lighter bullets in .357 mag can cause forcing cone and top strap erosion. Would this be a problem with this particular ammo, or should I just stick with heavier 158gr...

I was also wondering when something like this would happen, and I think that it is only certain states that require the FFL. However why not just require an FFL for the conversion cylinder?

I had an opportunity to buy one of those at a gun show for $40 bucks a few years back, wasn't in working condition though. It would be nice if manufactures would still produce pocket top-breaks like that.

Howdy folks, Alright well I was cleaning my GP-100 today and noticed that the screw holding the cylinder release in place (or part KE-27) has begun to screw it's way out! Never thought this could happen. What would be the best screw driver to use to tighten it back up? don't have or never seen...
