    New Model 45 Convertible

Thanks guys. I'll look at it in my hand and go from there. Will report.

    New Model 45 Convertible

It is blue. Asking is $800 which seems high for a NM. Thanks for the reply.

    New Model 45 Convertible

I was just offered a NM BH convertible with the 4 5/8" barrel. Serial number is 45-35xxx, which looks like a fairly low SN for a NM 45, but then I really can't tell. From the crappy phone pictures it looks to be in very good condition, with both cylinders and all the stuff. I'm trying to get...

    22 Cal Rotary Mag?

Thanks all. A friend gave me a NIB BX-1 and I wanted to know if it worked well in my 77/22 before I took it out of the bubble pack. It's out now and works fine. The date on the back of the package is 1/88, price $9.50.

    22 Cal Rotary Mag?

Is there any significant difference between the BX-1 (10/22) and the JX-1 (77/22)? Are they interchangeable?

Recoil Spring For Suppressed Mk II.

Spring and guide rod kit just arrived. Installation was easy, however it did require just a little fitting. The pistol runs perfectly now with this expensive German sub-sonic ammunition. I wrote a detailed explanation on the speed of sound but I cut it out. New spring works great.

Recoil Spring For Suppressed Mk II.

The RWS is consistently sub-sonic and very accurate in both weapons. The kit has 3 springs, std, heavy and one for sub-sonic. I'm hoping the light spring fixes my cycling problem. Interestingly, the rod is taken apart with a screw on the end so the springs can easily be swapped out. I will...

Recoil Spring For Suppressed Mk II.

I am finally getting around to fixing the cycling problem with my AAC suppressed Mk II. I use RWS subsonic and I have always just put my thumb on the bolt and feed the next round manually. I ordered the Volquartsen kit and also did some light polishing on the hammer face and bottom of the...

    Vaquero .32 H&R Mag/32-20

You didn't get to handle it? My mistake. I know I might have been a little over protective but you can shoot it if you want. I did take it to the range with a box of .32 H&R mag, 32-20 and some .32 long. Point of impact varied from each type but groups were all great from my perspective...

    Vaquero .32 H&R Mag/32-20

have no intention of modifying the gun. I can already shoot .32 H&R mag, 32-20, 32 S&W long and short. After the range session it shoots all of those very well. The thing I see about this gun is the rarity for future value. Not to mention the fun. Especially the 32-20.

    Vaquero .32 H&R Mag/32-20

Found one of these hard to find convertibles the other day. Now it's off to the range. http://s1163.photobucket.com/user/RetiredW4/media/vaquero005.jpg.html?sort=3&o=1

My Rugers are Back Home With New Camo

I had to re-zero the 77/22. It wasn't off by much. It's now dialed in. Four rounds at 25 yards. Not too bad for an old guy with tremors.

    New finish for my Rugers

I only use RWS Subsonic. It is consistently subsonic, and it makes much less noise than my BB gun.
