I've got both the orig Vaquero in 44/40 and the New Vaquero in .357 mag. Both are excellent. I just target shoot and plink for fun but they've handled very well.

Finally got a chance to fire the new LCP today. Very satisfied. 7 yards will fit in a 2 1/2 - 3" circle. Plenty good enough. Recoil wasn't bad and conceals well in the DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster. Son & his wife also liked it. All in all, a good purchase and fun to shoot.
Picked up two bulk boxes of Federal .22LR (550 rounds each) at Walmart today - $18.97 a box. Been looking for .380 since I got my new LCP and he didn't know when he'd have any. Found some at a hardware store in a nearby town @ $19.99 box of 50. Target loads - not sure of brand as I asked my...

Don't care for the GB illustrated model. I've got two Vaqueros, one original and one "new." Both in stainless. Thinking about some mild engraving on one of them. Both are good guns.
She said to hit it with the palm of your hand "as though you were hitting a volley ball". I did notice that I had to do it a few times but seems to be ok now and acting like a "normal" magazine insertion.
