It was a drop-in replacement on my wife's 6 inch 904. It made a world of difference. Sorry, I don't have the 'after' pic.

I think the confusion is an intentional marketing decision on the part of Ruger. :(

The vast majority of my wheel guns are 6 1/2" or longer, this one is 18". Ain't a pistol but it is a revolver. :cool:

I just heard back from Ruger on a replacement 45 acp cylinder for the convertible I inherited. I'll be giving them a call.

Don't know how many made. I grabbed mine a while back, first I'd seen. Like it so much I gave my convertible 22 SS to a friend. I'd never warmed up to the 22 but the 32 is a whole nother ballgame. edit to add pics of my Ruger 32s.

Do what I do with mine, reload to 32 mag specs. Noise issue solved. ;)

This is the very first thing that came to my mind.

Can you slot the hole to uncover the mis drilled hole? A small round file may be just the thing.

Just my opinion, cut the stock & replace it if & when. Dull the finish with a light coat of rattle can paint on the exposed areas. Reversible & cheap.

I just stick the tube into a large, clear plastic bottle also.

FWIW I use the Lee crip die on all of my calibers. Just bought the 4 die sets & a turret plate for each one.

Be patient, Starline will make more.
