I have a .45 Colt SBHH.
I don’t really have a lot of experience with it, when I took it to the range when I first got it, the best I could get it to do was 1.5”@25yds off the bench.
My 5.5” .45 Blackhawk will do .75” or less at that distance off the bench.
So my Hunter sits in the safe.

I have heard of one other transfer bar failure, but that was a SASS competitor's gun that had been fired multiple times more than a regular owner's would have been, not to mention the astronomical amount of dry-firing it went through.
Anything man made WILL fail at some point.

I rented a 9mm Ruger All Amerincan last week and did not have this problem.
Although I did have the slide close while seating a loaded...
I rented one to try it out.
Seating a mag forcefully caused the slide to close on it's own.
Not a big deal to me other than it's not supposed to happen.

It's nice, locks up good and tight. Haven't checked the cylinder gap yet.
Very little creep, but too heavy for such a tiny revolver. Going to have to get out my Kuhnhausen shop manual and read up on Bearcats and get a spring kit...
