Talked with Jason Randall today . The knife is a smithsonian bowie with a brass spine , scalloped brass collar and butt cap and an ivory handle . What makes it unique is the 14" blade (2" longer than normal) and the recessed tang nut . Built in 65 or 66 it is one of only 3 that has the longer...

Big John , I have the same No.1 in 44 mag . Tom at Accurate Molds built a 300 grain mold for that exact rifle . Look at mold # 43-300S Mine likes it with 15.0g of 2400 Steve

Got a number 3 buttstock with butt plate in a trade . What is the value if any ? It appears new with no marks , scratches or chips . Thanks , pulaski

Mine likes 4350 with 175g Hornady bullets . I also back them off the lands farther than you do . She will dump 5 into less than an inch at 100yds.
