    M77 7MM Magnum Trade

You made out on that trade and should get some good money for it if you don’t want it for hunting or long range target shooting. I just refurbished my buddy’s 7mm tang safety M77 from the 80’s and that thing is a tack driver. We’re going to try it out on a pig hunt this weekend. Should do well.

    Aluminum cased ammo

That’s pretty gutsy, but it’s good to have first hand knowledge that it shouldn’t be reloaded. Thanks for being the guinea pig on that. :)

    Aluminum cased ammo

Been shooting it for decades with zero issue (Blazer). More than I can say for Winchester white box. Most ranges don’t like aluminum cased ammo because they can’t recycle or reload it.

    Blazer ammo

What kind of blazer? They make many different loads in various configurations.

    9 mm Ammo

I like CCI/Blazer at the range. Never failed in 20 something years of shooting it.

    Opinion - Which grips?

I like the maple ones aesthetically, but would not part with my comfortable ruber hogues on my .44 mag redhawk.

    32 mag

Buffalo Bore makes some nice hot .32 h&R too. Might be pricey for plinking, but good defense or small game hunting.

Ruger/Marlin 45-70 Trappers at bass pro/Cabela’s on sale

I just saw that in my black friday sales flyer. I’m tempted. :)

"Ruger LCR Revolver in 327 Federal Magnum, for Close Quarters Self Defense?"

I have an lcr in .327. It’s quite the little powerhouse. Would make for a good home defense revolver. I’d prefer the 3” lcrx for that purpose.

    LCR/LCRx info wanted

Good luck finding a 3” lcrx in .357. I’ve been looking for months. If it was for carry, I’d go with the shorter one.

    LCR Recoil Management

My .327 lcr is snappy. And loud! But to me, it’s not at all uncomfortable to shoot. Quite fun actually. If the recoil concern is keeping the sights on target with successive shots, I can’t do it with the .327.

    Ruger 41 Remington Magnums

My first handgun, bought used in 1996 for $200 was this NMBH .41mag. Serial #27 made in 1973. I carried it on my side on countless bear and hog hunts. Always ran flawlessly. I regrettably sold it a couple years ago. Here’s a pic…
