    I Hold T. A. Workman Personally Responsible!

We're extra lucky as we've got TWO lists! The gun has to be on BOTH lists to be sold in Massachusetts. That's one of the items that GOAL is trying to get changed (good luck with that...) The permit issue, likewise, GOAL has been working hard at collecting data on people's experiences both...

    SR1911 help

I had a few issues at first and, like you, was brought up on "Don't force it!" I think I've had mine for about a year now and no problems at all for a long time.

    SR1911 vs Kimber .45

Peter! Are you Swedish?! In Sweden? Our daughter was there some years ago, for about three months, studying on a fellowship. PS: I like my Ruger 1911, but I have no real experience with others.

    thumb safety/sear engagement.

Puff, Puff, Puff, Whew, OK, I'm back. I can report 'No Click'. Not a peep. Now I didn't use a stethoscope, but I did hold the thing up to my ear for the final check.

    thumb safety/sear engagement.

So, maybe I'm missing something (no comments from the peanut gallery) First, one can't engage the thumb safety unless the pistol is cocked (ie hammer back) If one first disengages the safety, and then hears a 'click', why should one be surprised? Help me out here - I'll check mine out later...

SR 1911 FTF Problem- Help please?

I've used only Fed 230 FMJ and, other than the early issues caused by being 'too gentle', I've had no such problems.

    thumb safety/sear engagement.

OK, attempting to remain a positive contributor  I took my tired body down cellar and dragged mine out of the bottom of my safe where I'd just salted it away as we're going away on vacation. I went to all that effort :P just so that I could be accurate in my comment. Nothing I could...

No doubt someone will sell it on Ebay for $2. Of course they'll want $15 for shipping and handling, LOL!
