OK, "slam-Fire" can happen, but what about an out-of-battery fire? Full auto slam-fire is bad, but an out-of-battery fire can be deadly.

I've reading on another form that this mechanism wears out and wears out very quickly causing the Mini to slam-fire or even out-of-battery fire. Does this safety device wear out and if so how many rounds would it take before I have to send my Mini back to Ruger to get this repaired? Thanks
