I purchased a Kirst Konverter for my 1858 Remington, manufactured by Pietta. IMHO I think this product is great. I've shot close to 1,000 rounds throuh it without any problems. The fit and finish is great. No alterations at all with the firearm. Fits just like the original cap and ball cylinder...
