    Malfunction, Ammo or Gun?

Haha I know, I laughed at myself a bit when I first looked at the video. About the barrel, if anything like this happens again I'll definitely be checking it, just to be on the safe side. I didn't really look that time because I could see light coming down the barrel when I was checking things...

    Malfunction, Ammo or Gun?

That was Magtech 115gr FMJ that I was shooting, which as far as accuracy goes, is the best I've found for my P95 so far. In almost 1000 rounds thats the first time anything funky has happened. I didn't field strip it because when I first locked the slide back and looked in, I could see into the...

    Malfunction, Ammo or Gun?

Something that was just pointed out to me if you watch very carefully, immediately after the malf, I get hit in the chest by a small object, but I can't figure out what it is. I know its not the spent casing, as I ejected that manually. Very odd indeed, something very strange going on here...lol

    Malfunction, Ammo or Gun?

I hope so, I've been thinking about it since it happened yesterday, its driving me nuts! haha I edited the video down a little bit, so its not so long. Just after 50 seconds in is when the MALF happens, for those that haven't watched yet.

    Malfunction, Ammo or Gun?

Took a trip out to the range yesterday with the intentions of shooting a short video so I could examine my trigger squeeze and other things. While I was shooting the video I managed to have my first-ever malfunction with my P95, but I can't decide if it was a problem with the gun or with the...

    P95 trigger slap

I've not had that problem with my P95, only 875 rounds through it so far but no indication of problems like that. Did you google search it too?

    Barrel cleaning

I know I'm probably way too picky about cleaning every last bit of my P95, if there is ANY residue still on it then I haven't cleaned it good enough. Even the outside of the stainless slide gets cleaned up and wiped down with an oil of sorts. I always kept my M4 pretty clean, didn't want to get...

    My LC9 is ill

Unless my eyes are playing tricks on me, it looks like the casing either didn't eject all the way, or got stuck on the way in?

    Barrel cleaning

I've been running my barrel completely dry too, hasn't seemed to hurt anything but I do wonder if it makes it wear out faster, or if there is any discernible benefit to lubing the bore a little bit? Sorry if the questions are a bit noob-ish, maintaining my pistol the "proper" way is still a...

    Barrel cleaning

Thats similar to what I've been doing. Get kinda nervous shoving the copper brush down the barrel though, not sure what that would do to the rifling over the course of time.

    Barrel cleaning

How do all you Ruger fanatics clean the barrels in your pistols after a day at the range? Any good tips to clean out copper that gets left behind in the rifling? Anyone lube the inside of the barrel, if so what do you use?

The purpose of Jacketed Soft Points?

The ones I have are lead filled instead of polymer, wonder if it'll expand quite the same way. I need to get some ballistics gel or something lol.

The purpose of Jacketed Soft Points?

Ah ok that makes sense. Probably fire off a couple mags worth of this to see how the P95 likes it, if it eats it ok I might keep some of it around for personal defense or some such.

The purpose of Jacketed Soft Points?

I got some 95gr 9mm JSP ammo with flat tips and grooves laying around here at home and was just wondering what this type of ammo is good for? Not sure if I should just fire them off at the range or if they'd be good as a not-too-penetrative type ammo that I could use in the event of home...

    Big, chunky P's...

I love my P95 too. Things is amazing, not a single malfunction (that wasn't caused by the shooter....my fiance can't seem to stop limp wristing it, but she handles .45 glocks and springfields just fine, says .40s hurt her wrists though, whats up with that? lol) My P95 is also amazingly...
