    Ruger vs S&W Revolvers

I am not by any means expert on S&W revolvers, but for what I learned, after owning several (K, L and N frames), and handled-shoot dozens of them, -3, -4 and some -5 (those with firing pin on hammer) are in my humble opinion the best; parts manufactured on CNC machines, those critical ones were...

    Ruger vs S&W Revolvers

Regarding ergonomics, for 44 Magnum loads bellow maximum, Super Blackhawk v/s N-frame is IMO a toss. However, for heavy 44 Magnum or Ruger/TC level 45 Colt loads, Super Blackhawk with grips like this and Bisley, win hands down: As for durability, when talking about N-frame, interesting are...

Super Blackhawk Bisley 5 shot 454 Casull

I suggest look for somebody that has 44 Magnum Bisley, get a box of factory ammo (nobody will let you shoot your reloads in his/her revolvers) and ask if you can try side by side few rounds from Bisley and few from you SBH. Chances are 90% that recoil from Bisley will be easier on you hands...

    22 hornet Redhawk

Whooping 66 oz revolver for 22 Hornet!? Not my cup of tea. I am proposing here GP100 frame for 22 Hornet, top 6", bottom 7.5". With slim barrels, both should be less than 40 oz: BTW, this illustration started as a wish for lighter GP100 in 357 Magnum, but cylinder long enough to take a...

Cerakote vs Blue : cost benefits cons?

Interesting info! I have an old Mauser style hunting rifle. I've got it from my father, and fits me like a glove. Unfortunately, due the circumstances (missing during the war for several years) barrel bore is in poor condition, so I was thinking about rebarrelling it. Ultimately, I would like...

    22 hornet Redhawk

Better yet, 218 Bee. Yes, it will work in revolvers. I had seen article in very old magazine about cougar hunter in California. He had Colt SAA custom made to noted cartridge, and it worked flawlessly.

    Anaconda vs 629

And I would add, if you spend bit more and get M29 or M629 Classic DX: You will get revolver that makes 1.5" on 50 yds, TESTED at the factory. That is the reason why it is marked as DX. Also, notice those longer cylinder bolt notches, identifying revolver as a model with "Endurance Package"...
