Great for you. I shot my first .38 Spl. loads over a month ago with no hiccups either. It is a great feeling. Now I have my first .357 loads off the press and ready to go.........anticipation once again!
I forget exactly but my last indicated there was gun powder in the box. I assume they have to indicate somewhere so some dip does not use the box as their personal ash tray to hold a cigarette on it while taking a smoke break!
Your exactly correct on this. The only other side to this is the lawsuit for wrongful death which is not a criminal matter and has nothing to do with a DA's decision to drop or not.
That would be a civil charge brought against one. My thing is this, if a jury is too stupid to recognize...
The one thing I have found in court is that jurys are never predictable no matter how much you as the prosecution or defense try to seat the best juror for your case.
I think it is a crap shoot as to how you will be dealt with if the situation ever arises. My bottom line is that common...
When you read a manual and see just how many different powders for the many different bullet weights you will understand how this hobby can get expensive but manageable as long as you find that one load you really like.
The Lee dippers are nice and I find them true and accurate but just one...
Banjo I am new too and bought my Lee Turrett press 4 station with auto index a month ago. It sat in the big box from Midway with the tumbler; case sizer; Lee dippers; and all the other goodies. Only thing I got out of that box was the Lee manual and read it over and over. You will see that a...
Snake sounds like a real winner taking advice like dragging a body inside. Your a real genius my friend. So before you start downing folks here maybe you should attend your local community college and take a few law classes...........because you obviously seem the most educated here to rebuttal.
I am a LEO as well and don't buy into the reloads being a potential issue. A load is a load is a load. Guns when pointed at someone meaning harm to you is deadly force point blank.
Where issues arise are shady lawyers who try to throw a curve ball to the jury and at times succeeds in doing so...
I am awaiting for more Starline to come in. Problem is it is/has been out for sometime. Found Jamison brass in .357 and will give it a try. What the heck............may be decent stuff.
Anyone know anything about Jamison brass? They were the only folks I could find that has .357 brass so I bought a few hundred casings to give a whirl.
They seem to get some favorable feedback on their site but I am always suspicious of site owned feedback. Call me a conspiracy theorist but...
Can you detail the Lee 2nd edition.....I have the same manual and see where it shows 18.5c which indicates a compressed charge. Explain to me what a compressed charge is as compared to start grains???? Reason I ask.......listed for Win296 it has N/A across the board for grains and in the second...
Well finding primers have been a task for sure. Finally found a supplier with quite a few CCI small primer #500 in stock. They limited customers to only 2 packs of 1000 count. Guess I could order again in a day or so if I needed to stock pile them or wait until this shipment comes in.
I just...
