I called Ruger today to check on the status of my gun. They said I should have it back by the weekend. I will report their findings once I get it back and can make it to the range for test fire.

I hope they let me know when it's going to deliver. I don't want it sitting on the front porch when I am not home. UPS has done that to me in the past.

I have not yet tried the ammo i intend to use for CCW. I was just tryin the cheap stuff as "break in" ammo. I do this all the time and have never had this type of issue in the past. I do plan on using better ammo although not sure exactly which one at this point. I usually do shoot less...

no not yet, I was planning on a trip to the range for that very purpose in the next couple of days. I would like a gun that will shoot anything. My brother has been shooting the same stuff in his M&P with no trouble. I also ran it through my LCP and have not had any issues with the LCP

Could be anything you have mentioned. I just have never had this issue before with any of the guns I currently or have owned or shot in the past. I sure hope Ruger or someone can help me figure it out quick because I really like the gun but will not keep it if the problem continues.

Yes. I did last night but they will take 3 days to get back to me. I like the forums because real people will tell it like is. If there is a problem the manufacturer wont always admit it. On the forums you can find out what is really going on and what was really done to fix the problem.
