    Ruger LC9 night sights ???

Here is a link to the subject on the elsiepea.com forum. One member emailed Ruger and received an answer from them. The LC9 is very popular so I have to believe some mfg. will provide night sights soon. I will be first in line with my order! http://elsiepeaforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=14970.0

New LC9 the good, the bad and the ugly (Update 2)

I also took my LC9 to the range today for it's 2nd trip since being repaired by Ruger. Ruger replace my front sight post and pinned it this time. They also replaced the hammer catch & spring and the frame pins. I fired 100 rds of WWB, 50 rds of assorted HP and reloads with 0 failures. Once I...

    LC9 extractor flush?

Below are pictures of my LC9's extractor. All are with the pistol unloaded. With pistol loaded, the extractor front hook end is pushed out. This makes the body of the extractor paralell with the slide however still not flush. I would like to see pics of one that is flush.

    LC9 Brass shavings

I have about the same experience as welder only with 200 rds. IMHO it's nothing to be concerned about. If you notice some excessive wear somewhere in the action, thats a different story.

    LC9! Front Sight Not Aligned!

Blackbeard, Good luck on getting it back in 2 weeks, took 3 weeks on mine. Good news is after replacing the front sight with pinned model, replacing frame pins & replacing hammer catch with spring, it shoots great. If you need to use your backup carry I hope you make a good 1st shot...

Is your LC9 a pocket gun?

My LC9 will not fit in my jeans front pocket. If I wear looser pants such as cargo it will fit in front pocket however it is uncomfortable for me. I care mine in a DeSantis Superfly in Cargo pants/shorts leg pocket or IWB.

    LC9, 3rd Opinion

Following is a short review for those of you who missed my previous posts. I preordered an LC9 and when it arrived at my LGS I decided not to buy it. After thinking about it for a week I went back and bought the pistol. Immediately I drove to the range for a test shoot. After 2 mags the hammer...

    1st Time 10/22 Action Job

After firing 100 rds this morning, I disassembled mine again. This time I filed out the former heart shaped area of the bolt release to make it look like the Volquartsen. It now releases the bolt every time. I didn't remove the outer area like on the Volquartsen release. I may try that the next...

    1st Time 10/22 Action Job

I couldn't decide if I should post here or in the smithing section. This past Thursday I bought my 1st 10/22, a FS Tactical Model. The main reason for buying this model is the threaded barrel. I intended to leave it stock and use for plinking/target shooting. After measuring the trigger pull at...

LC9 broke on 1st trip to range

I pre-order an LC9 and it arrived last week. I went to the LGS to pickup and decided I didn't want the pistol and left without it. After some second thoughts I returned to the LGS this morning and bought the pistol. I immediately went to the range to fire it. On the first mag I appeared to be...
