Eye Protection for People That Wear Prescription Glasses

And another option, Uvex Safety Eyewear(uvex.com). They make Astro OTG (Over The Glasses). The last time I looked at their web site they offered them in boxes of 20, more than I needed. My local logging supplier was able to order a few 'smoke', they are also available in amber and clear. I...

    New Revolver GP 100

I agree with the above, excellent gun, cheap 38 for target practice (almost any FMJ) and 357 for home defence (almost any JHP). From time to time practice with 357 so the increased recoil and sound will not be a surprise. Also, I use some serious hearing protection, both ear plugs and 35 db...

    Thoughts on a "woman's" revover?

If the arthritis is in her fingers can she cock the hammer with the heel of her 'off' hand? If so this opens up lots of good options, any handgun with an exposed hammer like the GP100, which is well balanced and rather accurate.

    New GP100 Owner

The finger notches didn't fit my hand so I put on wood-inserts for a much improved grip.

Hogue over the older wood insert grips on GP100

The Hogues didn't fit my hand, I had to work to find the handle and they made my little finger ache. I switched to wood grips and the benefit was immediate. The fit was fast and natural. If Hogue's had only the top finger notched they would at least be useful. The message is: if it doesn't fit...

Shooting glasses that work with prescription ones

OTG safety glasses are designed to go Over The Glasses. I get the following from a local logging supplier, amber or gray lens on special order. The last time I looked online I was unable to get less than a box of 20. Uvex Safety Eyewear, www.uvex.com S2504 Astro OTG 3001, Black Frame, Gray UD...

    GP 100 .38

The cylinders are interchangeable, but are the barrels? It'd be a shame to have the 38 barrel damaged by the 357 pressures.

    GP-100 grip locator pin removal

'Swaged' tells me it was installed with serious pressure. You might want to contact Ruger for advice. I hope the old grips are still in good shape, you might need to keep them.
