WTB / WTT for Ruger P-89/95/94 9mm mags - Found some

Have some on the way. Thanks. My son accidentally left my range bag on the shooting table this afternoon, at the range. When we went back to retrieve it, it was already gone. Luckily we were just shooting our Ruger semis, today. So, only six mags and some cleaning gear were in there...

    Steel case 45 ammo

Great article. Thanks for posting. Here is a little snippet that further backs my experience and claims: "We shot them until they were too hot to hold – hot enough that a chambered round would cook off in ten to fifteen seconds. We also tried leaving rounds chambered before temperatures...

    1911 Cmdr sight picture

I have to use the same sight picture as #3 with my 5" at 20yds. I prefer #2 sight picture @ 20-25yds - mine shoots about 5" low at those distances.

 No... the lacquer will not heat up and melt from firing your gun. No... the lacquer will not foul your feed ramp, your barrel, or your slide. And finally - No... you "didn't" nearly ruin a Sig P220 shooting the Russian junk because of the lacquer. I've fired well over 50,000 rds...

SR1911 Range report : before and after working on it - phot

Thanks Mike. And you're right. I do enjoy modding and working on them a bit, especially if the problems have simple solutions. Helps pass the time and adds a little sentimental value to it.

SR1911 Range report : before and after working on it - phot

I believe the front sight is a tad high. I've only shot this Federal bulk through it, though. I'll be putting some 230gr Winchester bulk through the paces later this week to see how the two compare. After a hundred or so rounds of that I should have a pretty good idea of what height to use.

SR1911 Range report : before and after working on it - phot

I have already made a post listing some of the first problems on my SR1911, but will add to that list a sloppily fit bushing and an unfinished muzzle crown. In my first 75 rds through the Ruger - accuracy was on par with a 12guage using bird-shot @ 25yds. Well, last night, I finished up the...

    Is my barrel chipped?

If I were you I would contact Ruger and send them a photo. In the off chance something else should need work and does have to go back to Ruger, you don't want them seeing something of that nature which may cause them to question "your" handling of the weapon and consider it "abuse", then refuse...
