I will be sending the above video to Ruger. I am very concerned for people's safety, relating to this issue. This problem could cause someone to lose their life.
Thoughts of me sending Ruger this thread? So they see I'm not the only one?
Update: Ruger cannot duplicate issue. This is very confusing. At the time I found this out, I also took my LCP II and it fired flawlessly every time. I hold and shoot both guns the same way and the footprint is the same.
I wonder if this has something to do w/ it...

With mine, this was happening as soon as i got it (brand new) and didn't even shoot it before i sent it back.
I couldn't rack the slide all the way back, and hence it would end up about 3/8 from the nozzle end.

Hello All, is there a way i can look up the serial # of my gun to see how old it is?
I've had 2 major issues w/ it and it's brand new - trying to determine if it's a very early lot.
Same thing happened to me yesterday.Slide would lock back after either 2, 4 or 4 shots - every time.
I would reset the slide, then again slide would lock back w/ 2 or 3 shots.
I tried loading the mags w/ less cartridges - no help.
