Nice pair for sure. Like how ruger has a polished bluing on the receiver/barrel on the rimfires over the matte finish. Bought the compact in 22 mag years back and mounted a Vortex Crossfire on it. Never felt the stock felt chintzy either. Sure makes for a light weight rifle for carrying in the...
Wow most impressive for sure. Those look like cherished blades for sure. Not as fancy but glad I still own my 66 made Puma Skinner from my youth. Cost was under $30 back then. Guess that was considered serious cash back then though. LOL
Still packin the Sog Trident AT-XR most of the time. Like the 3.7 inch blade and it propels with authority. D-2 steel but no problems with any rust with the Ti-Ni coating.
Yep looks great. Often wondered the thickness of the Mag-pul stock compares to the Ruger synthetic stock on the rimfires. never thought the stock on my R/A 8323 was too shabby. Rifles like mine and the 10/22 are a dream to carry especially with the shorter barrels and take-down option.
Those Chucksters always appealed to me. Like the position of the bolt plus walnut. Nice gun and priced under $50 I noticed from the older Gun Digest book I had. Friend had the Mossberg 320 B if I am correct in 22 L.R. with peep sight. Nice trigger I remember.
Nice looking stocks on all three of them. Got the synthetic on my R/A compact also and I don't feel it looks or feels too chintzy. It is a breeze to carry and manage in the woods at 5 3/8 lbs. I imagine the same goes for the 10/22s also with the shorter barrels.
