Hi,
Im looking for a No1 action for a custom rifle, or a beat up No1 I can use as a donor gun to take the action from. Drop me a PM if you have either stashed away and are looking to get rid of it!
Thanks.
Awesome feedback, thanks for the opinions. Yep I have to say there is something I find "interesting" about a 475 #1...just seems like a lot of fun! What would be great would be a Mihec mold with reversible pins for the 475 Linebaugh, one penta-hollow point and a WFN pin, so you get two bullets...
Hey guys I wanted to bump this to the top again and see if there are any fresh opinions out there regarding the 475 vs 45/70 debate? Especially considering Belt Mountains release of their 400gr Punch bullet that you can seat further out.
Any pics of the 475 rifles with targets and/or game taken...
John thanks for posting thats exactly what I was looking for! Sure seems to stand out against the background. Im def going to see If I can have that as an option. I wonder if a jeweller could add a bar into the sight?
Hi all,
Im having a 475 Bisley built, and the gunsmith has offered to round the rear the of grip as it will be more comfortable. I kind of like the looks of the stock grip though...am I going to pay for it later if I dont round the grip, is it that much more comfortable to shoot?
Any advice...
Thanks for the pics and info guys. How come the bars are horizontal though, is that to provide elevation adjustment for long range shooting? Do you line the bar up with the top of th rear sight window?
I was thinking more of a vertical gold bar.
God idea with that metal working pencil flatgate!
Some great info this thread thanks for replying everyone. Ok so basically if the gun is built right from the start there is little practical difference.
4306 you're on the right track there...more guns is always a good thing ;)
