need a little help with a holster selection

well i know its a ruger forum but i also know that most of us have other guns. i recently traded for a stoeger/beretta 8040 and was wondering what they kinda match up with holster wise. I'm really looking for a crossdraw/strong side OWB. any help would be great! Thanks! Joe

    clunky vs. junky action feel....

+1! well stated! now i've owned a GP before and shot the heck out of it. trigger was rough out of box but have to say shooting and dry firing the crap out of it highly improved the trigger. Was satisfied enough that i felt i didnt need to polish it. Now never owned a SP but have handled a few...

    ruger gp100 hogue grips

+1 to batmann, if its a one peice set the hogue should have the screw on the bottom of the grip..not one that goes through the middle of the grip, but het i've been wrong before :)

Why doesn't Ruger offer a DOUBLE ACTION .22 rimfire?

I to agree with the GP .22 idea!! did pick up a smith 617 recently, was real impressed with it, but that price tag was a bit of a shock! if ruger did do an affordable GP 22 i'd pick it up in a hearbeat!

    GP100 modifications

well as far as 'painting' it someone once told me to use finger nail polish instead of paint, the polish will come off a heck of a lot easier then paint if you decide to sell it or trade it. or you could change the front sight altogether, you can order a set of 3 different ones from the ruger...

Going rate for a NIB GP100 SS?

there is a thread in the revolver section or could be in the gallery section called GP for $299 i think there was a shop thay were selling used ones at that price. i dont know if they still have them or not, but its worth a look!

I can't believe I dropped my brand new LCR

not to fear, my wife's LCR rattles like a baby's toy. was that way when we got it and i too didnt notice it until we got it home, but it functions fine so far.

    just a value question

i've got a 50th anniversary matched set, the .357 and the .44 mag, and was looking to trade/sell them for something else. they are unfired and barely turned, so theres no drag line. saw a few on gunbroker going for about a grand. just wondering if this was the normal price or if they were a bit...
